Heels to Heal, Inc. is a  non-profit charity organization that raises donations to help women and children that have been victims of a tramatic occurence and are in need of mental therapy/counseling services. The motto for our charity organization is “Women Healing Women and Children. It is our efforts to raise donations for victims in need of mental therapy/counseling services as well as offer support and direction for those in distress and feel as though they have no alternatives when dealing with mental trauma. Donations are primarily raised by hosting a multitude of events creating community involvement in efforts to raise donations toward a victim’s therapy care. Victims that may not have insurance coverage in this area, or are financially strapped can come to “Heels to Heal” to receive monies for mental therapy/counseling. “Heels to Heal” helps support victims that are children of sexual assault or kidnapping, women/children that are rape victims, cancer victims/survivors of medical trauma,  children that have been removed from their homes,etc. All of these traumatic situations require immediate mental health care. The long term effects for a victim not to receive care because they either do not know where to turn, or financially strapped could possibly lead to a devasting effect on their well-being. Through “Heels to Heal” victims can get the support that they need and recognize that they are Survivors!

“Heels to Heal” is also dedicated to fighting against sexual violence and recognizing the legal issues that Victims face in the justice system. By educating the public on the devasting effects or statistics of such a horrific crime, “Heels to Heals”  makes an effort to  help victims understand that they can fight against their attacker/rapist. The Victims must realize that they have the choice and power to go through proper legal action in court and not let the rapist walk free. Through effective counseling/therapy, victims can be guided through their frightening experience and have the confidence to pursue legal action against their attacker. We can all join together in educating ourselves and Fight against Rape!

Join us on Wednesday, February 3rd, for a Pre-Valetine’s Day celebration and  “Little Black Dress” Night from 7pm to 11pm at the Grayl’s Hotel.

 
All ladies wearing black dresses will receive complimentary “Little Black Dress Wine”, from 8pm – 10pm.

Complimentary sushi by “Sushi Rock” from 7:30-8:30pm
 
The Fashion Show will take place at 8:30pm.  Please arrive early to secure seating.
We will also be displaying artwork in our Packard’s Lounge, provided by local artist Felicia Ogilby.  Grayl’s Hotel & Felicia Ogilby will be donating a percentage of all proceeds to “HEELS TO HEAL” a Non-Profit Organization of Women Helping Women & Children in their Fight against Rape & Sexual Assault.
